Consistency is key when working towards any goal. Whether you have a professional goal, or a personal goal such as losing weight. Consistency must be applied. With the year just starting out many people have a goal of losing weight. Gyms are more crowded the first few months. Slowly but surely, less and less people continue to going to the gym. Many lose sight of their goals and quit. Being a Work at Home Mom who is trying to lose weight, I’ve come to realize how important it is to be consistent. Below are a few tips to help you stay consistent while working towards your goals.
1. Write your plan out.
Before you begin to work on your goal; write out your plan including what you will have to sacrifice in order to achieve your goal. How many days/times a day are you going to work towards goal.
2. Remind yourself why.
Reminding yourself why you’re doing what you’re doing will help you stay determined. Think of how you’ll feel about yourself if you quit. Winners never quit and quitters never win. ~Vince Lombardi
3. Envision your life once you’ve reached your goal.
Picturing your life after you’ve accomplished your goal is a great motivator. There is no greater feeling than knowing you’ve developed a better you by staying determined.
