How to balance work, and being a Mom!

A Better You!, Business Tips

Being a Mom is the most important and rewarding role I have, with that being said it can also be one the toughest. I recently spent time with my fellow Business Moms at our annual Convention. While at the Convention, I attended a great workshop on how to balance work and being a Mom. Below are a few tidbits that I learned.

1. Learn to prioritize.

Ask yourself: How important is this? Will it matter in 5 years?

2. Spend 30 minutes of each Sunday  to make simple goals for the week for yourself, family, and work.

Planning things out on a weekly and daily basis will help you get rid of things that aren’t that important and will allow you to have more quality time with your Family.

3. Keep reminding yourself how much fun you’re having. :)

Things will not always go as planned, but continue to remind yourself how much fun you’re having.

I hope these tips have helped you a bit.

Well, we are on the verge of back to school schedules around here. It seems to help me to be regimented. I love the idea of taking a little time Sunday evening to plan the week, set up the calendar, etc. I am also committed to organizing the grocery list and getting that done just after my work out on Monday mornings. Thanks Erika for the great reminders!

That why I want to get a part time job because my priority is to spend time with my daughter. I try to work at home by selling baby stuff but it sure aint compared to have a real work & be away from my baby for some hours. I will be hard but so worth it.
